An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. How long is your data retained
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). The website owner (David) and his tech guy can see that information, no one else can.
What rights you have over your data
Data that you have provided to us non-anonymously you can request that we erase any personal data. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. You can erase your account two different ways: First send and email to: david@myquinstory.info and ask to have your account deleted. Or you can delete the information yourself if you are a registered user by going to the Subscriber Profile page. At the bottom of that page is a link to delete your profile permanently. Once you do this your data is deleted from our system.

In order to unsubscribe from or modify subscription information please click on the link inside the email/newsletter the receive. That will take you to a page to modify or delete your data.
